Then Join the new Business School Peer Network. This Slate (Vista WebCT ) site is a hub for communicating, mentoring, online peer groups and more….  The site is being launched to returning and new students at the Davis Campus in September 2009

Want to Get Connected with Students in your Business Major?

What does the site offer you?

• Mentoring Chat Rooms for your subject major (i.e., Accounting, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Ecommerce, General Business, Office Administration and Paralegal). You can communicate with other students in your major on questions about their courses and program.  A subject Peer Mentor will be available once or twice a week for most majors to help with specific curriculum challenges (understanding etc.)
• On-line Peer Groups will be made up of 3 or 4 students from the same year and program to help you build academic and career success. Groups will be made up as you sign up in the site.
• More Features Planned including Resource opportunities from Sheridan departments such as the Career Centre (e.g., Tutoring) and from the School of Business Business Council. There are planned features such as a “Volunteer Business Experience”  database (to gain practical valuable experience)
